Oleksandr Stegnii (1961) is chief executive of Center for Social and Marketing Research “SOCIS”, leading researcher of Institute of sociology, Ukrainian Academy of Scienes, expert of Environmental NGO EcoPravo-Kyiv. He received Candidate of science from Institute for economical and social problems of foreign countries Ukrainian Academy of Sciences in 1990. He received Doctor of Science from Institute of sociology, Ukrainian Academy of Scienes in 2001. Sphere of Scientific Interests: environmental sociology, public opinion sociology, political culture, social problems of regions.
