TAI Assessment Training, 3-5 March 2010, Istanbul, Turkey

Right after the Coach the Coaches meeting on 1-2 March, a TAI Assessment Training was held on 3-5 March by the newly trained coaches for the fresh Turkish TAI national coalition at the Regional Forestry Department of the Ministry of Environment and Forestry in Istanbul, Turkey. It was a unique opportunity for the coaches to test their knowledge in a live situation as well as a great experience for the Turkish participants to meet so many representatives of the TAI family. Each subject area was presented by different coaches who - via their personal approach and style - helped the new coalition members understand the functioning of a TAI assessment. Coaches were: Lalanath de Silva, Lorraine Gatlabayan, Carole Excell, Olimpia Castillo, Somrudee Nicro, Augustine Njamnshi, and Csaba Kiss. The Turkish National Coalition was led by Yusuf Günes and Aynur Coskun. Advisory Panel members joined the Launch Meeting that succeded the training. It was a lively and successful event and we all are looking forward to the new TAI assessment to be completed by the end of October in Turkey.
