A chance to increase access to environmental justice

With support from WRI and collaboration from the Environmental Affairs Department in the Ministry of Natural Resources, Energy and Environment, CEPA will soon be facilitating major steps in increasing access to environmental justice in Malawi. The key aspect of this is that all factors being equal by the end of 2010 a more accessible mechanism for the public in channeling their environmental injustice complaints will be effectively in place. We will keep this blog posted on any steps.

We look forward to hearling about the great work of CEPA and other in 2010. Soon the TAI Secretariat will be launching publication with Professors Rock and Kitty Pring, “Greening Justice” on environmental courts and tribunals. We will make sure you have a copy of the publication for your work.
